I have this unusual habit of finding interesting and/or useful stuff while searching for something completely different, and pretty often something utterly useless.

Yesterday, I found this keepsake folder I guess, called "fuckyouthieves se vide" ("fuckyouthieves empties out" if you will) so I browsed through it a little, and I thought it was funny because it basically tells of my passing in here, I think. So, I thought I might resubmit most of the lot, in case some old dA friends would still like to remember and since I don't value most of this artwork so much (Mr. Shovelhits might smack me down for mentioning this, but it's the truth, so is it because I believe it sucks that I don't value it, or is it because I don't value it at all that it ends up sucking hard? Food for thought.)

A few pieces are valued on a personal basis, however. They will NOT be resubmitted, at least not here. Am I doing this the wrong way? I don't think I am. I'm leaving personal artifacts that indicate that I passed here, since most of them were designed for the purpose of being showed off here, and not the other way around (the account being made for the purpose of showing off my artwork, that never happened) -- and these valued pieces, I still show around to people, so I'll just leave the old stuff here and move on down the road.

I will not forget, however, that during that time, deviantART has pretty much been the reason I draw/wrote/designed anything at all. It felt like a way to communicate and connect with people, and it has been. With a few people. Now it's just overcrowded (more than ever) so I feel out of place again.

Now, crap. I really didn't mean this to end up sounding like a "good effin' bye, dA" because this is réchauffé. Like watching the very same rerun of a show ten thousands times (or KyoAni telling us the exact same story in 7 different episodes) -- Besides, that's not the case. This isn't about goodbye at all. It's about how I waste a day away reuploading old stuff for nostalgic purposes. Ha ha ha. The kind thing that makes me go, "I should've just let it all there back then and not bother about it" since I'm just so good at disappearing. Like my artwork was so precious. Well now, fuckyouthieves' passage on dA will remain available (nearly completely) among all the deviantspace photos, scribblings, doodles, pokémon crap, and whatever remains utterly unfeatured here. Should the worst (well that all DEPENDS on perspective) happen, all dA servers' hardware will melt at once and while much data will be lost, much lolz will be had. I'm not even the least terrified about it.

I guess I did fall into that feeling of popularity contest back then. I'm utterly elitist, no doubt about it, and I would most certainly not present something I'm not confident in to professionals, yet lots of folks here just upload crap away, thinking they're actually doing pretty good (The intent here really ISN'T bashing at anyone, by the way, everyone has beginnings, no matter how humble, I guess) so perhaps the problem is conveniently located in my head.

I'm a sick man, I'm a wicked man. Hahaha...yeah right. So let's upload away! Poor lonely web files...

Edit: 4 days later and the upload has not yet begun. Nor did I read another single page of "Notes from Underground" ...what an utter failure. Yay! More to come!
